A client from the automotive industry wanted to use the warehouse space as much as possible, so he stored goods in pallet boxes (gitterboxes) on two floors, close to the walls and near communication paths. There was therefore a risk that when picking up goods stored on multiple levels, the forklift operator would tip over or lower the load onto an unsecured pedestrian path. In this situation, the customer had two solutions - he could move the goods a minimum of 5 meters, thereby significantly reducing the storage space, or use flexible barriers.
