A logistics company wanted to secure critical areas in its newly built warehouse against forklift impacts. Frequent collisions could also endanger employee safety in storage zones around the racks. After a thorough analysis, we proposed the installation of safety bollards at key warehouse points. Our safety bollards, made of durable materials, are designed to withstand forklift impacts while minimizing the risk of damage. Floor-level protections, contrary to appearances, were intended to safeguard the entire building structure. Strong impacts on rack legs can cause pillars and the roof to collapse, which is why it is so important to secure all areas potentially exposed to uncontrolled vehicle movement.
In close cooperation with the client’s team, we installed safety bollards at strategic locations within the warehouse. PA bollards created a protective zone for conveyors, separating vehicles from conveyor legs. Additionally, to protect against low-positioned forklift forks, reinforced GB HD+ barriers were installed along machine lines and racks. Pedestrian paths were separated from storage areas with Pedestrian R3 barriers, as well as ramp zones from exit routes. Loading docks were also equipped with bollard to protect gate corners. GBD rack barriers were placed near pillars, structural posts, and infrastructure areas. High-level protectors, in the form of Gate Protectors, secured low-hanging structures.
Thanks to our flexibility and experience, the installation was completed quickly and without disrupting the warehouse’s daily operations. The level of safety increased, and the company saved future costs on repairs and barrier maintenance.
