In a dynamically operating industrial hall, where people, machines, robots, and high-bay storage areas coexist, it was necessary to ensure workplace safety and efficient space organization. The key objective was to separate people and machines from storage zones. Additionally, it was crucial to designate clear transport routes and protect infrastructure against potential damage caused by the intensive traffic and nature of operations in this environment.
The implementation process began with a thorough analysis of the needs and potential risks associated with the use of the facility. Based on this, it was proposed to implement protection consisting of a series of flexible Wall Protector HD+ barriers combined with GB HD+ barriers.
Wall Protectors were strategically positioned to protect high-bay storage areas from the shifting of stored goods and to safeguard production zones where machines and industrial robots operate. The use of reinforced lower GB HD+ protective barriers provided effective protection of adjacent areas against low-positioned forklift forks operating in the zone.
Wall Protectors were also used to protect and separate strictly production zones equipped with robots, machines, and other modern systems supporting production and logistics. These solutions not only protected the key elements of the hall but also helped define clear transport routes between work areas.
The implementation was complemented by the use of SGA safety gates with stop signs and light signals in Traffic R3 barrier lines. They regulate pedestrian traffic in critical areas and minimize the risk of entering routes used by vehicles.
The use of flexible Wall Protector HD+ protective barriers combined with GB HD+ barriers brought numerous benefits. Thanks to the implemented solutions, high-bay storage areas were effectively separated from transport and production zones, which significantly increased workplace safety. Clearly marked transport routes improved the flow and efficiency of logistics processes, minimizing the risk of collisions and downtime. The modular system design greatly facilitated the implementation of the task in line with the client’s needs and ensured appropriate protection in designated areas.
The implementation of the Wall Protector HD+ system with GB HD+ barriers in a hall with automated production zones and high-bay storage areas significantly improved workplace safety and space organization. Thanks to the applied solutions, it was possible to effectively secure specific parts of the hall, improve traffic organization in a dynamic industrial environment, and ensure employee safety in the areas most exposed to accidents.
